PolymerLatex is increasing prices for chloroprene latex

Marl, Germany -- PolymerLatex has increased prices for its range of chloroprene latex, also known as CR latex, worldwide effective July 1, 2010. The price increase of EUR 250/ton (wet) in Europe and $300/ton (wet) in all other world regions, is required to offset significantly risen costs. CR latex is marketed as Lipren worldwide and used to manufacture protective gloves and medical devices, but also used in many other specialty segments like construction chemicals and bitumen modification, textiles and sealants.
